Red Alder & White Maple Kitchen Cabinets

This kitchen remodel shows what can be done when there are multiple colors and textures in a kitchen. Note the multiple countertop materials of granite and wood and how the two natural elements accent each other within the overall kitchen design. This element to the kitchen gallery shows what can be done with negative space as well. Look at the counter expanse against the back wall. There was no need to over clutter the area with more cabinets so the kitchen designers decided to adorn the back wall with a few white accent cabinets which house the homeowners glassware.

Lighting is also an important feature to this kitchen. Note how recessed lighting is used with pendant lighting to achieve a dynamic look. The recessed lighting makes the work areas visible and the hanging pendants add mood to the buffet area. The white cabinets look amazing against the red wood and the natural stone making this a beautiful addition to the kitchen design gallery.
